BIASISWA MARA YTP 2019

Note that this is not a scholarship, tapi its a pinjaman boleh ubah (PBU) 

Note, im not exactly sure about mara's pbu so please dont ask me hehe uwu

I applied for A Levels at GMI, to further studies in Germany in engineering

Okay, memang satu semenanjung pusat interview dia dekat Kolej Politek Mara Bangi, So yang jauh jauh semua akan turun ke bangi untuk interview ni, for our year.

For pakaian, cause im a girl i shall speak for the ladies hehe, ok hari iv ni panas so, i suggest pakai baju kurung yang tak tebal, or if youd like kemeja and blazer pon ok je, bag letak luar so tak kisah sangat bag apa, and make sure bawak the documents, tapi kalau tertinggal pon its okay nanti pegawai mara tu bagitahu apa nak buat.

The early bird gets the worm

or in our case, kalau nak balik awal datang awal. Sebab memang ramai yang akan attend iv ni, and you pon tanak lengah, i arrived on the 10 mins early and barely made the first session for interviews, 

Jangan risau kalau lambat still ada banyak session lagi, tapi kena tunggu sikit

Nisbah lelaki dengan perempuan was not what i expected, ramai lagi lelaki daripada perempuan and agihan semua group ada dalam 6 lelaki 2 perempuan.

Interview

I read blogs and tahun tahun sebelum ada yang dia guna lego, buat activities and such but none of that for us. Setiap tahun dia tukar tukar kot

My year, ada dua session, group work (pembentangan) and group interview. There were 3 panelists, and the pembentangan and iv were done in the same room , by the same panel

Format dia exactly sama macam JPA tapi dalam bilik yang sama

Group work

Pembentangan, case study sebenarnya. They give a topic, masalah ke, suruh buat plan program ke, and after that bentang.

Please please please make your voice heard BUT, DO NOT hog the attention for yourself, thats just plain rude man .-.

if youre the talkative type, try to bring out your shy-er groupmates' ideas (the panel will see everything you do) and if your shy, try to speak, were all a group here, hungry for scholarships so you gotta show your drive.

Baca tentang isu berkaitan masalah di Malaysia cth, merokok di tempat awam, patriotisme remaja, it circulates around those themes

Group Interview

Memang ramai, 8 orang sitting in a line, so try to make yourself pop out. If you can, try and be the first to speak so people dont steal your ideas hehe, but kalau jadi orang last bercakap is just as good because you get to analyse what your groupmates have said and give your own stance on it, cth; i agree, disagree with what he said but on the flip side etc etc,

Some of the questions asked (note alot of us applied for engineering)

• A slogan for the program we planned in the group discussion
• Tell me about yourself and one weakness
• Strengths?
•  What are the elements of IR 4.0
• Why you chose this course, country to study
• What are the challanges in language barriers in your country of choosing

Some questions, you get to volunteer to speak first, some they pick who to speak, ready je sentiasa.

i finished at about 10 lebih, 

Note dia tak tanya langsung pasal mara, alhamdulillah. But it wouldnt hurt to prepare a bit, langkah berjaga jaga

Results

Alhamdulillah, i got my first choice which was GMI, but ill have to think about it before i make any decisions, thanks for reading :) Goodluck future scholars!
